The final day of putting my guitar together.
First off i used the charcoal to mucky up the body as it was the best thing to give me the mucky look as I have shown in my surface experimentation. Once i had done this and glued down the scratchplate with some construction grade glue to make sure it wouldn't come off, it was time to wire everything together.
Before this though i realised that the strings were coliding when being tightened, at a closer look I realised the bridge was missing from the neck so using the band saw and a small piece of excess wood from creating the pick ups, I measured up the wood cut it out and then measured where the strings would go and filed down this area so the strings would sit in the slot and not colide with eachother and make the guitar look tidy.
After wiring it all up we realised the strings weren't sitting so we had to unscrew them and then drill small holes for the string ends to sit in, this then allowed the rest of the strings to sit in place.
This is the guitar fully finished and strung up, ready for the end of year show.
