Cris Wick - artist research

Cris Wicks is a designer whose works you have more than likely seen being featured around the web with his use of breathtaking typography in his amazing portraits which tend to catch the eye no matter their surroundings. Using a popular technique to create a portrait out of words, Cris has created some truly inspiring works that rank high in most folk’s favourites.

for my critical studies i have used acrylic paint to re create some of his portraits, to continue my studies in his work i will print out a copy of my piece and add in the lyrics with a pen as i want to keep my critical studies to the highest standard i can and don't want to risk ruining them.

Cris Wicks work has to be some of my favourite pieces of work i have found during my research and i think i will use his technique to a certain point with in my work.
